SKI AREA SÖLDEN
In three areas (Gaislach, Giggijoch, and Glacier), beginners, advanced skiers, and professionals will all feel right at home. Various ski huts offer classic après-ski, cozy retreats, and local specialties. The ski area is within walking distance from the accommodation (Giggijoch valley station!).
SKI AREA OBERGURGL-HOCHGURGL
Just 14 kilometers to the south lies the beautiful mountain village of Obergurgl/Hochgurgl. Here, you will find numerous kilometers of slopes, traditional ski huts, the Top Mountain Star, and the Crosspoint Motorcycle Museum.

Tobogganing
Those who want to enjoy skiing and snowboarding without missing out on fun can either use the groomed toboggan run from the Gaislachkogel middle station down into the valley or visit one of the many huts off the ski slopes. Toboggans can be rented at all sports shops, and at some huts, you can borrow them for a small fee! We recommend visiting the following huts: Stallwiesalm, Lenzenalm, Schönwieshütte, and Gaislachalm.
Cross-Country-Ski
In Sölden and the neighboring Längenfeld, you have the opportunity to use the cross-country ski trails for free. Both municipalities offer classic cross-country skiing as well as skating. Equipment can be rented, for example, at our partner SPORT RIML.

Ice Skating
At the sports field in Sölden, you can skate during the day or in the evening under floodlights. If you prefer to skate on a natural lake, you can do so on the Piburger See, located above Ötz. The ice skating rink in Sölden is just a few minutes' walk from our house.
Snowshow Hiking
Anyone who wants to experience a dreamy hike should equip themselves with snowshoes from one of the sports shops and embark on a winter hike through the forests of Sölden. The "Mooser Stegle" towards Stallwiesalm/Kleblealm is perfect for this and can be reached directly from our house. Those who want to go further up should definitely book an experienced ski/mountain guide to ensure safety in the winter snow.
